Development along Cleburne Boulevard (Rt. 100) in Dublin received another boost Tuesday night when Pulaski Planning Commission recommended tentative approval of a rezoning request that would make way for more restaurants and retail businesses.

Diversified Developers, Inc. is seeking to have 30 acres of a 112.63-acre site at the intersection of Rt. 100 and Bagging Plant Road rezoned from Industrial (I1) to Commercial (C1). The planners voted to recommend approval of the rezone pending comment from Dublin Town Council since a portion of the property is adjacent to Dublin’s jurisdictional boundry.
Concept plans call for the 30-acre site to be used for construction of a “large gasoline station;” restaurant sites; a drug store; a 150,000-square-foot retail site; smaller retail sites; and offices. The remaining property is divided into four industrials sites ranging in size from 12 to 30 acres.
