Discover the Christiansburg Community

Christiansburg is located in the foothills of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains in Southwest Virginia and is known locally as the “Downtown of the New River Valley.” As the county seat of Montgomery County, it has approximately 20,000 residents and is the fourth largest town in the state. The former home of Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett, the growing town is now the economic and commercial center of the area.

“Progressive small town living at its best,” Christiansburg real estate is increasingly in demand.

The Key Features of Christiansburg

Located on North Franklin Street, the Christiansburg Aquatic Center is a new facility featuring a competition pool, a leisure pool, and a warm therapy pool. The new Harkrader Sports Complex has two playground areas, tennis and basketball courts, and a walking path, and will be host to the 2010 Dixie Boys World Series. Local residents can also go canoeing in Claytor Lake, hike the Appalachian Trail, or catch a fish in the New River.
